Healthy Living Class Part 1
Are you feeling overwhelmed, tired, unsure of how to take care for yourself?
This group class is limited to 15 people and offers a space to develop confidence and self-awareness through play and dialogue. Much like our Creating Community class, we will use creativity to inform our learning. The difference in this class, is that the focus is on our physical body, how we use it, how we abuse it and how and why we should take better care of it. Drawing on 15 years of teaching use of body as a instrument, subjects will include breath work, alignment, taking space, healthy grocery shopping and eating, the importance of sleep and regulating stress. This a a great class for students on their own for the first time.
We will meet two hours a week for five weeks.
Our next session runs Wednesday evenings, 5pm to 7pm, September 8 to October 6, 2021.
